Radical Generosity (Grand Rapids : Discovery House , 2016)

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I write because I want to awaken people to full life with Christ. God has given me this opportunity by writing devotionals for Our Daily Bread Ministries. I am grateful to be on a team of amazing authors and editors. It is strictly by God’s grace. I am doubly excited about the release of my new book, Radical Generosity.

Through interesting stories and relevant Scripture, I encourage people to experience a deeper love for Jesus. My prayer is, this compilation of Our Daily Bread and Our Daily Journey devotional readings will inspire you to live with Spirit-empowered abandon. So go ahead . . . trust God wholeheartedly. Pour blessings into others. Live a life of radical generosity!

Radical Generosity is available on Kindle at Amazon.

Leadership Pain: The Classroom for Growth (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 2015)

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Presently, I am reading Leadership Pain by Samuel Chand, affectionately called a leader’s Leader. Right out of the gate, Chand makes a profound statement: leaders will grow only through the threshold of our pain. The greater the pain, the greater the potential for growth. Moreover, Chand’s subtitle says it all: Pain is the Classroom for Growth. Learning through pain has been my story. Whenever God wants to grow me, he sits me down in the classroom of pain – death, loss, church politics. The key for me is submitting long enough to learn the lessons God wants to teach me. Here is a sampling of the chapters from the table of contents:

  1. Leadership Leprosy
  2. External Challenges
  3. Too Much Too Often
  4. Growing Pains
  5. What Makes You Tick
  6. Root Cause Analysis
  7. You Gotta Love It
  8. The Privilege of Leadership
  9. The Power of Tenacity
  10. Pain Partners
  11. It’s Your Move

I can’t wait to dive further into the book, and I anticipate it will shape and mold me for this next season in my leadership. This book has 151 reviews and 138 are five stars, and 13 are four stars.
